VBA is for GameBoy, GameBoy Colour and Gameboy Advance roms. NO$GBA 2.6A is for GameBoy Advance roms and Nintendo DS games. I would recommend using the VisualBoy Advance for GameBoy Advance roms. I personally like Project 64 1.6 though. I find it easier to use.

Diamond/Pearl Starter Editor - http://www.zshare.net/download/14962102ff89b34b/
Diamond/Pearl Starter Editor is a cool program that allows you to edit the threee starter pokemon. One you select them from the briefcase it'll have the original pokemon, but when you battle it'll have the edited pokemon.
ShinyGold X is just a harder version of ShinyGold.
If you want to save in Pokemon Shiny Gold you must not of already started the game.Open ShinyGold with the VBA. A .SAV file should automatically pop up. DON'T DELETE IT! Go to Options -> Emulator -> Save Type -> 128k. Also, if you want the game to recognize the real time. Go to ->Options -> Emulator -> Real Time Clock.
Note that Pokemon ShinyGold (A remake of Pokemon Gold) is only up to Beta 5 (you won't be allowed into Pallet Town, Cinabar Island, Viridian City and Pewter City). Zel said that Beta 6 will go up to Mt. Silver, Beta 7 will go up to the end (including glitches and bugs) and the final version will go up to the end with no bugs/glitches. It will be updated.
The only reason I didn't get an English translation of Pokemon Green is beacause, basically all of the translations are either not translated completely or not translated correctly.
All of the rom links were made by me. I did NOT find links to them and paste them here!
If you want to see the box art for the roms that I've provided for you here's a link to all of them: http://www.zshare.net/image/14949646b52ccc45/. The only rom I didn't give to you was the 2nd Japanese game with red text for the Nintendo DS.
If you want to save using NO$GBA 2.6A, do the following.
1 - Open the rom using NO$GBA 2.6A.
2 - Go to options and click 'Emulation Setup' or alternately press F11.
3 - Have the following entries:
3a - Realtime, Auto.
3b - Start Cartridge Directly.
3c - 24bit True Colour.
3d - nocash.
3e - GBA SP (backlight).
3f - Auto.
3g - Auto.
3h - 100 Watts/Bright Sunlight.
3i - Digital Stereo.
3j- High (44kHz) (best).
3l - Medium/Medium (stable).
3m - 1.
3n - Gamepals in all GBAs.
3o - Automatic.
4 - Enjoy.
Also just before I go to the credits, VBA and NO$GBA 2.6A have a Save/Load State System. If you don't know what that means I'll explain it to you. In the VBA say you find a pokemon that you want to catch which is rare but you only have one pokeball left and you want to catch it. You can press 'Shift + F1 to F10' and it'll save right where you are. Say your pokeball fails when you try to catch it. You load the state that you saved. So for instance if I saved the state by using 'Shift + F5' I would press F5 to load the state. In NO$GBA 2.6A it's a bit different. First of all you can only have one save state (but I'll tell you a little trick). To save the state, you must right-click one of the screens and press 'Save State'. A menu will pop up asking you what do you want to call your save state. When you want to load your save state, right-click one of the screens and press load state. Find the .SNA file you saved it as and keep on playing from where you were. The trick to having multiple save states for the same game on the NO$GBA 2.6A is, you can just click 'Save State' again and again and again. Hope I helped.
None of the Hacked roms were Hacked by me. Credit goes to zel for ShinyGold and some random guy for Emerald 386.
